27-01-2005 | Blackberry eradication begun early 2003 pretty successful and sweet Bursaria, Kangarooo apple and many A.mearnsii seedlings have apperared. Downside erosion of bank as people don’t use stairs to access river. Animals: kangaroo scats in grass, platypus seen 30/1/05. Birds: Woodduck, Superb Blue Wren, Scrub Wren, Rufus Whistle. Veg: Poa tussock, Drooping mistletoe, Phragmites, E. viminalis (manna gum), Woolly teatree, E. radiata (narrow leaf peppermint), River calistamon (river bottlebrush), E. ovata, Sweet bursaria, E.macroryncha, Black wattle, Burgan, Blackwood wattle, Kangaroo apple, Dealbata wattle (silver wattle), Pycnantha (hedge wattle).
