Weather Conditions: Hazy, high thin cloud, warm and still. Comments/Notes: No apparent flow, colour: black with white streaks and 'orange' oil patches. Strong odour - rotten egg gas? #Note: Checked Develins Inlet again on Saturday 31/12/05. DEV030 - Dry. DEV040 - slight flow, some black colour. The tide was coming in - water from the estuary apperaed to be clean. And again on Tuesday 2/1/05. DEV030 -Dry. Dev040 _ As above: There seems to be an upwelling in the creek bottom below an old concrete pipe which passes across the creek. And again on Wednesday 3/1/05: I will ckeck DEV040 again and if the problem persists I will contact Gippsland Water. (and also send a sample to EPA?) - Contacted Hans Vander Sariot on Tuesday 3/1/06.
