Current weather conditions where fine and sunny during time of sampling top of 42 degrees C. This site is to be used a control site to monitor the effects of spraying on parots feather further downstream. Quite a significant amount of vegetation at the site with a algae scum on surface. No flow, just pools of deep water.
Macroinvertebrates: Length of edge sample 5 metres. 30minutes taken to sort sample. Stream velocitiy was no flow.
Singal 2 Index Score 3 - severely polluted.
Water spider 1, Caddisfly 1, Giant Water Beetle 1, Damselfly 2, Round Worm 10+, Bloodworm 30+, Riffle Beetle Larvae 3, Backswimmer 3, Mosquito Larvae 1, Leech 5.
