Distance from open drain to monitoring site was 20m upstream. Weather conditions were sunny with the last rainfall during last week 26/08/07 (2.8mm). Water appearance was found to have some oily and algae scum. Litter pollutants found were paper, polystyrene, bottles, cardboard, cans, packets and plastic. Data indicated high rate of algal growth (i.e high D.O and pH) and colonial algae and scum present.
