10km anabranch of Ovens River, erosion control measures in place, rocks and groins, also concrete causeway 200m downstream, creek fenced off from stock access now, last season attempt to plant out bank but all died as result of drought. Water use is agricultural (grazing). Recently rapidly risen from several large pools to a full creek running rapidly. Over last 48 hours dropped to a slow moving stream. 53mm during the last week, was sunny during time of sampling.
