Water is up to footbridge level and has been over it. Very fast flow. Branches and plant debris in water. Eroded bank. Extremely muddy water, with a variety of rubbish floating past, including large pieces. Flood danger signs placed on each end of the bridge. Stake is still there! We installed our star picket marker post 5 days prior to the floods!! and luckily it survived! I have sent our "marker" photos , 5.3.10 and then our next observations which were taken 4 days after the flood. The water level was right up to the bridge which means it had risen nearly 4 metres!!! but had dropped back to 60cm by the Friday. I will also sent a flood photo I took with my mobile camera on the day of the flood. Cheers, Anne Wilson
