Water appeared very clear, no froth or foam or oily scum. Well shaded with drain not flowing into outlet. Could not see any hard litter in the area - next cows grazing etc. - smell from adjacent property. Lots of vegetation surrounding the banks of inflow channel to seaford wetland. Very slow moving, sheltered position - but very little indigenous vegetation - heavily modified at sample site.
