The first few rains of autumn. Dry upstream. The rain has washed dirt in. Even though the tide is coming in and our water sample is taken for the first time from the bridge with a bucket on a string and does not collect the dirty water from below but the top striated water, it is still highish in phosphate and turbidity. Will it be green tomorrow and black on Sunday?
