Rained in last 12 hrs. The level near and under the footbridge is fairly low. Water sample had to be taken closer to Banyule Rd, 20m north form the main storm drain. It is quite obvious that flows from the headwater has slowed down to a trickle. I will confirm this then I carry out the simpson barracks testing on saturday. Rainfall over the past 8hrs has only freshened up the vegetation along the creek verge. The amount of weeds is taking over. Serious weed control should be a priority. No bug sampling was carried out as Tobey will be carrying out sampling with Jo and students next term. Litter pollutants present: paper, bottles, cans, cardboard.
