Last rainfall more than six weeks ago. Sample taken further upstream due to water levels at regular sampling site. Found vegetation at creek edge is now covering majority of creek water up to bridge. During the month I will attempt some weed removal and clean up our sampling site area ready for Viewbank College students. I will be taking a long walk along the creek from Banyule Rd to the wetlands to investigate possible testing sites, and uncover any bug activity in the area. The swamp is now unfit for testing, and there still appears to be juvenille carp present. No signs of mozzy fish seen. Litter pollutants present paper, bottles, cans and cardboard.
