Still in pristine condition apart from the high salinity reading. THis is up on last month by 130. Flowing water only appears after the test area about 10m downstream. Water level at 300mm under the Oxley Bridge at it's deepest point. Further upstream towards calwell Rd end there are water bodies with depths of up to 1.5m with small waterfall in between closer to the dam. Bug activity is still very high with a large diversity of orders and family. Ed Tsyrlin is certainly correct in mentioning that although high salinity readings area problem this had not affected the bug activity or created concerns towards the ecosystem.
