Physical Chemical Tests

Last rainfall 3 weeks ago. It was a pleasure to finally test the swamp again after the drought scare. As normal, a sample had to be taken some 10 to 15 meters into the swamp. Discoloration from vegetation is still apparent at the water edge. The water ribbon is starting to come into flower, while surface weed is spreading causing lack of sunlight penetration towards the bottom. Plenty of birdlife in and around the swamp. Close up photos of the swan nest site revealed no eggs at present. Bug life coming back to full flight with a number of samples taken and recorded. Will test for bug life again in Oct/Nov during peak season. Litter pollutants present paper, bottles, cans.
