Sample point was under the new road bridge, immediately downstream of the river level gauging point, and since there was no flow today the sample was taken about 2 metres below the riffle/stepping stones. The water level on the gauge was 0.26m which is 0.13m higher than when last sampled on 22/04/09. I have recorded light showers in the last week (less than 5mm in total) but not enough for any significant run off
