Good flows with slight turbidity, test results for Watsons Creek- September 2009. Good flows went through over the past week, giving the creek a well needed flush and top up. This can be derived from the lower than normal salinity reading. Turbidity was slightly up, but didn't have any effects towards my remaining tests. Bug life is on the move with heaps of odonata, ephemeroptera, trichoptera and diptera noted. Mid november I will be carrying out a proper bug test, or I might wait until our end of year visit if it is still on the go. Got to within 2 meters of a wombat before it realised someone was watching it. I still have that hunting/stalking ability inside me. Didn't have my camera this trip.
