Rate of flow was a bit faster than last time, with more erosion downstream. Rainfall: 6 mm last 24 hours and 6.2 in last 3 days and 17 mm in last 7 days. Water level on stake: 15 cm Observations and notes (22/4/2010): Turbidty improved this time but still very tubid. Lower air temp and water temp this time. Areas where the bank has been eroded and where silt/sand has been deposited. Acccumulation of bits of rebbish is streamside vegetatio after floods. Other observation: large items of rubbish from flood of 7/3/2010 has still not been removed. Nillumbik operations centre has contacted Melb Water. A large brunch has been carried downstream and is resing on a horizontal log. 6 Pacific Black ducks and accucia dealbata in bud. Other Litter: 4 balls-1 ballon-4 pieces timber- 2 foam mattresses- 1 fabric- 1 wheelbarrow-1 big plastic container- 2 corrugated iron- (most of this about 100 upstream from bridge)
