extremely high ammonium and phosphate readings, strange smell, ( some sort of chemical odour... couldn't recognise it, but perhaps like a solvent of some sort, certainly not a typical detergent smell). There was a fast inflow from one of the drains and the water near there was frothy, so my guess is that was the source of the contamination (see photo) Other observations: I also sampled Nerreman wetland ( 18 hours later) and the levels there were not unusual (phosphate was 0.06 and ammonium was 0.03) so i dont' think the contamination could have come from that far upstream.
