Foam and scum were below the dam wall, not in lake. Litter included balls, cigarette lighter. Evidence of higher water level and faster flow: flattened vegetation, rubbish/debris high on banks, branches blocking tunnel, plantings damaged. Common Bluetongue Lizard trapped in pit drain, struggling amongst rubbish. Rescued by' Wildlife Rescue Victoria'. Vet to check her. Will be returned to area. Dragonflies in flight, Pobblebonks and Common Froglets calling, Pacific Black Duck with 11 ducklings, Chestnut Teal with 6 ducklings, Mudlarks, Bronzewings, Corella, Eastern Rosella, Rainbow Lorikeet, Magpie, Noisy Miners.
The flowing drain was the upstream one. There were bubbles at the exit. Water for Ammonium and Phosphate tests was filtered. Weather: fresh breeze with gusts. A medium sized branch fell into the water.
