People camping at Murtagh's basin are building a bonfire near the sample site, complete with old tyres, wood, cuttings, poly-pipe, mirrors etc. I had a friendly chat and managed to embarass them somewhat when I brought their attention to the impact of burning rubbish, but I don't think they will remove the offending items.
