What has changed since last time you monitored: water level has returned to normal. Weed grasses overhanging the bank have been removed and the area sprayed. Not sure if slash was removed or left to fall on lake.
What stands out about the site today: scum below the weir wall, vegetation carried down in the floods is blocking the tunnels.
Friends group have been weeding, and planting.
Fauna obs: black ducks, chestnut teal, Corellas, mudlarks, noisy miners, spotted turtle doves, dragonflies in flight, several butterfly species using plantings, observed an golden orb spider and hear marsh frog calling.
