Windy, gathering cumulous clouds. Estuary closed, colour tannin, odour slightly musty, flow almost negligible, unable to calibrate PH/cond meter, kept samples for verification. Downstream sample 12pm - Air 16.8, Water 16.5, PH 5.75 (paper 5.50), Turbidity <9, EC 653, Phos 0.05, DO 7.66. EGW Treatment Plant boundary - Air 16.8, Water 15.9. PH 5.45, Turbidity <9, EC 780, Phos 0.07, DO 7.16. Extra samples taken and tested downstream and upstream from regular sample point. It was noted that a significant flow was entering Davis Creek from the East Gippsland irrigation area. This flow has continued for at least a week to my knowledge.
