Hi, The creek is high (by comparison with past sampling) and flowing fast after the rains, though about 40cm lower than a recent (last night?) high. The creek is turbulent and eroding the bank downstream from the ford. The sample site is 3 metres above the ford, where it is turbulent but no obvious erosion occuring. The rain had stopped and the cloud was lifting, clearing from the WNW. Access to the sample site was easy, with no risks. Qu. Why do we discard the pH and Ec solutions? Would they retain integrity if stored in sealed Wee jars for some(?) length of time? If the water was shaken from the unit before insertion, there would be little change to the pH. Regards, Terry
