Both sites had quite a bit of rubbish high up in the vegetation along the banks, left by the recent heavy rain.
There was also a bicycle in the waterway, with lots of washed-down vegetation caught in it.
Turbidity was very high. When it reads 40 or more I have been in the habit of filtering before testing Phosphate and Ammonium, but apparently this is not advisable unless it’s done routinely at every monitoring, so from now on I’ll not do so.
