Results for Darebin Creek for phosphate and ammonium were very high today.
The water was fairly low, and there were no other unusual parameters.
I spoke with Trevor Hausler and Julia Cirillo who were here doing WW training and they said to inform our WW coordinator, Tiana, which I did.
Tiana confirmed it was a high reading for these parameters and that it might be due to the low water. She said if there are no obvious signs of pollution (ie: smell, discolouration, dead fish), then the EPA won’t act.
I agreed to try to keep an eye on it over the next week or so.
