In the pit drain: 7 plastic bottles and polystyrene balls.
Tree guards especially the ones with one thick stake.
Rubbish wedged in rock crevices --- dam area.
Cumbungi has spread considerably and is in flower. It was difficult to reach the water for our sample because of the Cumbungi.
Montbretia is spreading along the creek (much more than last year).
Lots of Cabbage White Butterflies
A large Eucalypt has fallen onto the Cumbungi area.
A dead Acacia dealbata has fallen near the broken seat.
The mesh fence alongside the plantings needs some attention.
BIRDS: 6 Wood ducks, Bronzewings, Mudlarks, Noisy Miners.
We collected our sample in the company of a Kangaroo --- unconcerned that we were there. Lots of scats near the broken seat and on a trail down to the creek.
