The waterway had quite a marked oil slick today.

Considering it was around “knock-off” time at the nearby motor mechanic businesses,
I wonder if the oil might have been run-off from the end-of-day hose downs?
The pH, turbidity and Phosphate readings were significantly higher here too, compared with those upstream at YDI 838Other litter included some glass bottles, and also the car tyre which has been there in the water for a few months now.
