Science classes surveyed the water bugs and noted presence only for 16 species:
Very sensitive: mayfly nymph, caddisfly larvae,
sensitive : water mite
tolerant: biting midge larvaem whirligig beetle
very tolerant: damselfly nymph, freshwater shrimp, round worm, scud, flatworm, isopod, predacious diving beelte, segmented worm,waterboatman, backswimmer, mosquite larvae.
Can be compared with survey a year later .
