The waterway continues to be very overgrown.
In the deeper sections there were either quite a lot of water bugs breaking the surface, or possibly small fish (it was not possible to actually see them)There were a lot of oily(?) patches floating on the surface of the waterway near the bridge
(see photo IMG_1354)When I was testing for Ammonium, the solution turned pink when I added the NH4-1 reagent. I’ve never seen this before, and have no idea what to make of it, but it didn’t seem to alter the eventual appearance of the test sample, and the result was normal.
