the surface of the water was slightly oily, it didnt appear upstream of the bridge so there must have been something between the first drain and the footbridge. we brushcut the grass yesterday and we will be starting to remove the Trad as soon as possible. This will probably uncover a large number of containers and general rubbish which may be contributing to the slight oil smears in the water. Very high ammonium- is this usual?
