The water level was higher than normal, this made it quite difficult to get a clean water sample, as there was a lot of reeds and water plants on the edge and i couldnt reach over it with the pole. In my two water samples collected, I caught about 6 waterboatmen!! There was a lot of black ibis and welcome swallows flying and roosting around the swamp.
