Although it may not be advisable to monitor when the waterway is in flood, I decided to do it as a one-off as it could be interesting. It was!
The EC reading was amazingly low at both sites
[I had calibrated the EC meter using a new std. solution]
Most of the other measurements were normal/good.
It was not possible to get an accurate measurement of stream depth, but it was > 90cmThe North and South drains are so overgrown now that it was not possible to tell if they were flowing or not, though I suspect they must have been, at least a bit.
There was no litter except for a small, pink bike. All the rest had probably been washed away.
RA - EC changed from 17.7 to 177
