Litter/Pollutants |
No litter at site however we picked up lots of rubbish along the Riverwalk as it was after the school holidays and the Big 4 had been busy.
We did the dissolved oxygen test with our old LaMotte which had been repaired and then tried out the new LaMotte device. The reading we recorded on the new LaMotte was 10.9 PPM.
On reflection we found that the new device turns itself off very quickly once you have tested the blank. The best option seems to have the prepared sample ready and then test the blank and prepared sample at the same time. Then you do not have to go through all the turning on protocol.
