Litter/Pollutants

No pollutants/litter.  Drain pit had fairly clear water in it, but no flow out into river.  Saw 3 skinks, one on log on edge of eroded drainage channel

Diary photos

Mouth of drain shown, common reeds mainly damaged (washed away) in floods several mon ths ago. Convolvulus sepium rampantly growing in new reeds.
Skink by drain - might be a Southern Water Skink. Slightly larger than common pale-flecked garden skinks seen nearby in grass and leaf litter.
Ran out of record book. Used scrap paper in the field
Calystegia sepium, a cosmopolitan bindweed (not the exotic species). Flowers pale pink or white.
