Sampling area is probably too shallow. Sand at drain mouth and rock presence make it shallow compared with the river 5m further out from the bank. Water appeared slightly murky, maybe caused by fine algae particles that grow in warm shallow water. River flow rate is lowish, but normal for summer without much recent rain.
