Litter/Pollutants | plastic |
I spotted one dead fish (most likely carp) washed in the middle of the creek. Looked around and couldn't see any others.
Very high initial phosphate reading (>0.25) and high ammonium. I retested phosphate and got 0.10.
I reported this to the EPA (ref. PRI-00075822)
Quite a bit of plastic litter washed up on d/s bank, likely after 16 mm rain on 10/5.
Despite 9 NTU turbidity result, water a bit cloudy and has been on and off for the last week or so.
EPA investigated a report of brown/red coloured water last week.
