When we arrived, there was an oil slick on the water flowing out from under Susan St, and we could hear water being discharged from one of the underground drains. By the time I was ready to take my sample, the oil slick had gone, but then there was frothy foam floating on the surface of the flowing water. I expected this to show up in my readings as increased Ammonium and/or Phophate, but that doesn’t seem to have been the case. Interestingly, comparison of the readings between the two sites showed very little, if any, difference.
