New sampling equipment used for the first time, would you change the above description please. In the past, the temp was taken from the Cyberscan DO unit, not the Eutec listed above. The pool is slowly silting up. Depth is now about 30-35cm. The siltation rate has slowed this past year. Cattle are grazing near the sample pool, after sample was taken some came to the pool, one or two walked through it, the probable cause of the increased turbidity. Unusual activity of water boatmen, about 20 or so in the pool. This is the first time I have noticed them. The seventy dollars worth of sample bottle holder and handle was matched by a piece of crack willow and an old shoelace!!
