Hi, The cows are back at the sample site!! Oh well, at least the turbidity was still low! The Phos reading is straight from the colorimeter, NO conversion. The silting is forming a bank at the sample position so a move one metre upstream gave 30cm to sample from. The new La Motte DO Tracer Pocket tester is beginning to play-up like the previous units. It took a long time to calibrate. There is the build-up of something dropping out of solution, in the form of small grains. In the end, the reading did seem to stabilise. Have a good Christmas time.
