The foam was in small patches below the dam wall.
The smell was coming from the mud at the sampling site 100m upstream from the dam.

In the pit drain: Plastic bottles, balls, polystyrene balls, plastic food containers
The rubbish is still on the ledge (dam area).
Common Froglets were calling.
Birds: Wood Ducks, Mudlarks, Rainbow Lorikeets, Crested Pigeons, Butcherbird, Kookaburra, Galahs.
