The Ammonium levels at both Fort Knox and Susan St were again very high this month, so it prompted me to also sample further upstream at Nerreman Wetlands (site YDI833) where to my surprise I found the Ammonium to be quite low, indicating that some sort of pollution must be entering the waterway somewhere between Nerreman and Fort Knox. Unfortunately I have not as yet been unable to find a way of accessing the banks of the waterway in this area in order to have a closer look. The Phosphate readings were not unusually high, and were relatively similar across the 3 sites. I sampled at Fort Knox again at about 2:30pm 12/1/16 and the Ammonium was still very high: 0.40 mg/L When I've managed to gather some more specific data I plan to contact the EPA about this matter. The large piece of board was still there (as noted last month)
