This sample was collected under the road bridge. The water is the muddiest I have ever seen it. The water coming out from under the west side of the bridge was swirling, but it wasn’t swirling going in under the east side of the bridge. I couldn’t see any reason for the turbulence..Water was turbid prior to going under bridge Total rain for February – 46 mm -Helen Note - upstream of this site is affected by Black Saturday fires 07-02-09, and there has been higher rainfall in last couple of months than in last 12 months, so this may be a direct result. Helen was unable to sample in January, and we had high rain on New Years Eve also. Kirsten
