What has changed since last time you monitored? water was much clearer. Ammonium at Fort Knox was particularly high this month Other observations: I used our new Tertiary Kit No. 5 for the first time today, but also used pH and EC meters borrowed from Edendale. Measured pH using both the Edendale meter* and the No5 kit pH meter**. Strangely, the Edendale pH meter gave consistently lower readings, even after recalibrating. I measured EC using just the Edendale No. 3 EC meter (because I'm not confident about how to use the new-style EC meter in our kit!) pH result of 6.9 taken using Edendale meter, result from using No 5 kit meter was 7.9.
