Two excellent specimens of needle-bugs Ranantra were also recorded. A spotted marsh frog was sighted and a reasonable photo was taken of it. The abundance of adult dragonflies and damselflies flying around must contribute to a health environment at Wetland 2. Water bugs present: caddisflies, damselflies, freshwater yabbie, backswimmer, water boatman, needle bug, seed shrimp.
