Both wetlands are in pristine condition with parameter readings almost identical. Water from within the barracks to wetland 2 are at a constant flow through the various channels and pipes. The amount of water exiting from Rentons Ridge into the Yallambie Creek is fairly constant with a number of channels carrying significant water. Some bug life, diving beetles, backswimmers, seed shrimp, and non biting midge were spotted. Will wait until spring for next bug sampling. One variety of frog present with a number of tadpole in shallow dam beside wetland 2.
