Rained in past 48hrs. I didn't know what to expect from teh testing as the swamp was very low to almost drying up again. The past rains had actually transformed the whole outlook of the swamp to a positive. My sample had to be taken around 20mtrs. in from the edge to get a good sample. Although the nitrate level was still on the high side, it was a dramatic drop from the previous test. We are expecting further rainfalls at the start of April which should top up the swamp to almost full capacity again. Great news for the fauna and bugs concerned. No further visuals on the unknown frog as water level is past the bush.
