Large Dead Manna Gum down further upstream from this site, has caused localised erosion. EC is higher downstream of the drain, there is a lot of flow being directed under the ford crossing and it is more shallow in this section. Also a lot of sedimentation occurring which is lowering the water level and channelling the flow.
