Phosphate test conducted at 12.4 degrees C, and ammonium test conducted at 18.2 degrees C Water elevel ofn stake 65-70cm estimate only. What has changed since last time you monitored? Wider, deeper, and much more turbid. A large tree trunk has been carried down the creek and is leaning against the bridge causing a biuld up of branches, plant debris and rubbish. Two more tree trunks in the water close by, leaning against the bank. What stands out about the site today? Evidence of a much higher water level recently- flattened vegetation, plants covered in silt, bank erosion, specially the undermining of a bridge support. Lots of rubbish. Other observations: Acacia dealbata in flower, pacific black duck, group of scrub wrens. Attempts to report the situation on 131 722 were unsucessful.
