rainfall: 249mm since last time of monitoring, 29/10/2010 What has changed since last time you monitored? Dramatic changes in water level, sometimes up to and over the bridge, Bridge sides pushed over but repaired quickly. What stands out about the site today? Muddy banks, erosion, deposition, bark and twigs falling into river due to strong wind gusts. Strong current has undercut bridge support (Edendale side) Other observations: Orange mesh, used to warn public of bridge danger, remains as litter, caught up in streamside vegetation water level on stake: 15cm
