Wetland is crowded with birds - painted snipe, 2 great egrets, black Fronted Dotterals, Spoonbills, 3 Nankee Night Herons, White faced Heron, thousnads of native hens, many varieties of ducks. The Painted Snipe are sighted most days either feeding or nesting. The most birds seen at any 'one' time is 7. Today at 9:15 am Keith saw 5 Painted Snipe. Mostly, they are seen in the evenings.
