This is the first time we have done observations from the new footbridge. The old (much lower) bridge has been completely removed and a higher , all metal bridge with non slip surface has been installed beautifully into the landscape with no obvvious disturbance! Hopefully now we will not have any problems with flooding after heavy rains and the bridge wont wash away. There is still much vegatation and dead trees in the creek from many recent floods. A new low (?30cm) log has wedged across the creek, downstream creating a new little waterfall.
