We have been monitoring ammonium and phosphate for 9 weeks. Phosphate has been consistently high, ammonium has fluctuated between 0.1 and 0.5, being greater than 0.5 in 5 weeks of the 9. Historically ammonium has been zero with occasional short lived spikes. Phosphate has never been this high so consistently.
I hope that students will begin their investigation of the problem at the beginning of next term.
